The Delights of Skegness

Well, as previously explained, it wasn't a town we were visiting from choice, it was a stopping off point. It lived up to our expectations. Not our sort of place.

The beaches are lovely, large, clean and good sand but for us the place is ruined by the fun fairs, amusement arcades and the all pervading smell of Fish & Chips and I do mean everywhere!

I always expected the Savoy Hotel to be just a tad more up market.

This Miners Convalesence home was next to the campsite and was a rather strange reminder of the past.

I had a go at Metal Detecting. I was rubbish

But Rowley loved the beach.
