We were glad we went, it was a pretty place and a lovely day, although the hill back up to the bus stop was a killer!
We had lunch at the Cod & Lobster. Guess what? I had a Crab Sandwich! This one was much better than the one at Robin's Hood Bay.

Staithes
Next day was a rest day, after Whitby but the 6th May we planned a bus outing to Staithes. My daughter and a friend had both suggested we go there, as it's a quaint fishing village and also used as the setting for the children's programme, Old Jack's Boat.
We were glad we went, it was a pretty place and a lovely day, although the hill back up to the bus stop was a killer!
