Canterbury Revisited

While we were down in Kent, we took another trip in Canterbury. Still baulked at the admission charges to the Cathedral but had a walk around in better weather than our previous visit.

This tower is all that remains of the church, where Christopher Marlowe was baptised

Below the tower is a gravestone for a lady who lived to an incredible age for someone born in the mid 17th Century.

This couple seem to have slipped through a time warp.

The remaining photos are scenes that caught my eye as we walked round.

Above are Bertha and Ethelbert Queen & King of Kent 597 AD.
